Many self proclaimed "expert" mentors/coaches/consultants are knowingly exploiting and price gouging their clients.
These charlatans encourage gyms & studios to use "3rd party" products/services they recommend without disclosing conflicts of interest or financial kickbacks.
We find most often overpriced CRM/lead automation softwares and poorly optimized websites are pushed by these silver tongued cons.
These CRM/lead automation softwares could be obtained for a fraction of the cost, but instead are white labeled then resold at a 300%-500% marked up in price! Even worse than the price gouging is the white labeled softwares we see these "experts" recommend are inferior to many other options available on the market!... These swindlers know this, but this isn't about your success, this is about them!
Additionally these fake "experts" often offer or include a website for the gyms & studios they work with. Are these cons now website experts too? Negative, once again their goal is to maximize the money they take from you. Even in cases where they offer a website for free, its only free until you try to cancel consulting services, then all of a sudden you have to pay a jacked up price for a shitty website.
The more dangerous part about this is we have found these poorly built websites can cause longterm damage to Google Search Traffic & Lead volumes. On average we find these websites pushed by these fake "expert" result in a -30% to -60% decrease in a gym's website Google Search Traffic & Lead Volumes within three months of going live. Of course these "experts" know this will happen which is why they so often aggressively encourage their clients to run paid Facebook ads, Google Ads, etc... this way you supplement the decrease in Google Search Traffic & Leads with paid traffic.
